Silver Lake Resort is the "Oldest Trout Fishing Resort" in The Eastern Sierra. The resort is nestled at the base of Carson Peak, which provides a dramatic backdrop for Silver Lake. The name stems from the color of the water on overcast days. Silver Lake is one of the four lakes that make up the June Lake Loop between Mammoth Lakes and Lee Vining.
