We are please to be able to share our house with you, and want you to feel at ease. Some of our furniture is antique AND we encourage you to use it. Some of it is just plain comfortable. We offer spacious rooms with private baths, TV with cable, DVD, microwave, coffeepot, and refrigerator. Our beds are topped with premium mattress sets and a selection of pillows all designed to provide a restful haven from a day of exploration, adventure, theater, music, or any of the many activities attracting visitors to Kalamazoo every day. Room decor ranges from traditional (and not so traditional) Victorian style, to contemporary, to casual. The third floor rooms can be reserved as a suite perfect for families and those travelling with friends. Rooms in the Carriage House offer additional privacy for those looking for some alone time. The second floor Carriage House Suite is available for extended stays of two weeks or more - a comfortable suite at a competitive rate. Guests are encouraged to use the first floor parlors, porch, and the garden. During any season, you're sure to find a place to start the day with a coffee and a newspaper as the house was built by a publisher of Kalamazoo's early newspaper and we believe there is still value in newsprint.
