“transporting you back to when covered wagons & buffalo first criss-crossed the prairie! ”
An interactive adventure, the Great Platte River Road Archway will transport you back to an era when covered wagons, buffalo, hand-pulled carts, and trains first criss-crossed the prairie! The Archway features film, computer graphics, life-size dioramas, re-enactors, classic cars and more to document over 150 years of transporation and communication across America.
The experience at the Archway is truly one-of-a-kind, and will provide the words and faces of many that lived and died on their way westward. Learn more about this unique museum experience.

Alot to see and do. Kids enjoyed the maze, and walking around.
We were unable to go to the museum (they weren't open yet) but just walking the grounds was lovely!
