Killington has some of the best vertical in the East and is certainly in the top 3 largest ski resorts on the East Coast. Great tree skiing when it has snowed. You can pretty much count on the top half of the superstar quad to be skied off with some crappy moguls unless it got dumped on. For your average day of snowfall and weather I like the triple on the right side of the mountain that has a rope toe / J lift running up the edge. Great for pumping out carvers on groom. I hear the park is pretty good, but it's better to hit Mt. Snow or Okemo which are much more focused on their parks. Ramshead is all family skiing.

Insider tip: Park down at the sky gondola for early birds who want to get in and out quickly (but don't leave late because the gondola will close!).

Hiking up here is quite a challenge. But when you get to the top, the view is just simply amazing. Moreover, I just love the fact that the facilities here are really clean and well-maintained. The staff are nice and very approachable, too! This is a great place for every kind of skiers. It has runs for all sorts of levels. Rent is quite high, though. So if you have equipment of your own, better bring them so you can save a quite good amount.
