Motel Trees

I made this reservation last minute and was truly anxious, but I must praise it! With my AAA discount, the room was under $60. The room was larger than I expected and included fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom was recently redone: tile floors, nice vanity and a huge walk in shower. The attached restaurant was a bit tacky and a bit overpriced but great variety on the menu and decent food. Only complaints: wifi was not great nor was the hospitality in the office, otherwise I give this place a glowing recommendation! There are few places with this great of a location amongst the redwoods, this is a winner!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Right across highway 101 from Trees of Mystery and just a 2 min drive from Wilson creek beach. We got one of the themed rooms which basically just means it has an awesome mural on one wall. The shower was nice and large, but the water was just past lukewarm. The room heater works quickly and very well. No freezer in the mini fridge, but there is a microwave and coffee maker. There was a TV but we never used it. Overall, it was clean, free of bed bugs, and a great one-night stop along our redwoods journey.
