“Hot Spring”

of the Colorado River. The closest city to Radium to the north is Kremmling and to the south is Eagle and Edwards. The spring mixes with river water bringing the temperature down to about 80⁰ F. When the river is high, usually in the spring, the pool can be washed out. There are rocks across the river from the springs that visitors occasionally jump off. Exercise caution if you choose to jump off the rocks. It is extremely dangerous and has resulted in injuries.

Rough Road and Steep Trail - Drove in to the Warm Spring Trailhead. The road in is really an ATV road. Our Mazda SUV made it and someone else's minivan made it to that trailhead but super rutty. Didn't drive any further. There's a new trailhead "Warm Springs" that we started down but is extremely steep. Because it was late in the day we decided not to pursue it and only went 1/3 of the way since we knew hiking back up was going to be a beast.
