“Est. 1973”
Grab & Go Subs was founded in 1973 by Vincenzo “Mimmo” Gaglio and is the product of a lifetime of baking and restaurant experience. Mimmo was born in Montelepre, Sicily in 1930 and migrated to New York City at age 19 with his older brother Vito. After arriving in New York Mimmo worked at a Cheese Factory & Bakery in the Bronx where he learned to perfect his skills. Today the bread is still being baked the same way, and now the next generation of family is operating every store and making sure it remains as the locals’ favorite sandwich shop
