Welcome to Mother Nature Walking Tours! You have a choice of two tours: Historic/Points of Interest 2-hour loop tour & Tongva Tribe 2-hour loop tour. The Historic/Points of Interest Tour--Begins at the famous Hotel Laguna, meanders through downtown, goes up hills and stairs through interesting spots in south Laguna Beach, turns around at Mountain Avenue, touches the bluffs of the Pacific Oceans and returns to the Hotel Laguna. You will see historic buildings, hear stories about Laguna's colorful characters, learn about the history of the city and catch spectacular views of the coastline. This is a brisk 2-hour hike/tour.The Tongva tour begins in north Laguna Beach along the coast. We will walk through gorgeous Heisler Park. You will hear about the indigenous Tongva (Gabrielino) people who lived peacefully and successfully in southern California for thousands of years. Learn how they survived with only nature providing supplies. Hunting and fishing practices, indigenous foods, ethnobotany, spirituality, personal adornment and local animals will be discussed. Many hands on items provided to enhance your experience. This is a brisk 2-hour hike/tour on rolling sidewalks, stairs and sand.
