“Modern & Greek cuisine”
Paul Karabinis has been in the diner business for over thirty years. He came to Oneonta, New York, and opened up the first Neptune Diner in 1986. Originally it was a 2,000 square foot diner. The old diner was removed in the Spring of 2000 and he erected a completely new modern expanded diner which opened on May 25, 2000. It has 6700 square feet of dining area and a seating capacity of 290 people. There is a 1900 square foot banquet room that can accommodate 100 people, a 2300 square foot dining room that will accommodate 125 people and a 2500 square foot coffee bar and dining area which will accommodate 65 people. It serves modern and Greek cuisine. A step back into the '50's but with a 21st century state-of-the-art décor and old-fashioned, hometown service. All of the food served in the restaurant is homemade. It has a classy, yet friendly atmosphere with an expanded menu and hometown prices.
