“Diamonds are Forever film location”
Experience the exclusive gem that is the LVH - Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, the iconic place to stay and play in the electrifying city of Las Vegas. Conveniently located just one block from the famed Las Vegas Strip and immediately adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center. For those who would rather play, we feature the world’s largest Race & Sports Book, and our casino offers an amazing variety of table games and slots in a 74,000-square foot gaming playground. Elegantly inviting yet pleasantly tucked away, LVH - Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is celebrated for its storied past as Elvis’ headquarters, its expansive variety of luxury suites and villas, and an impeccable service standard. In 007: This hotel was featured prominently in Diamonds Are Forever as the Whyte House, owned by “reclusive billionaire Willard Whyte”. Filming also occurred at Circus Circus (this was where Bond told Tiffany Case to retrieve the diamonds). Much of the Las Vegas filming took place at hotels owned by Howard Hughes. Due to the fact that much of Las Vegas is illuminated at night by neon lights the cinematographers working on the film were pretty stoked because no additional lighting was required.
Great pool area, it's not on the strip, but has a fantastic view on the higher floors. Close to the convention center.
