Paul's BBQ

This could well be the best barbeque place in the state of Georgia. It is most definitely worth the drive and unless you live in or near Athens, chances are you'll have to go way out of your way to get to Paul's.  Come early. On a Saturday during football season it can get packed! Stop over and get it a try! Today, at Paul’s Bar-B-Que. George smokes the shoulders on a cinderblock pit out at his farm, and Jimmy is in charge of the Brunswick stew. But, since George is still a farmer, and Jimmy works as a paramedic, you can only have their brand of ‘cue on Saturday mornings or, if you plan ahead, on the Fourth of July.
