“unmissable antiques stop!”
Pink Elephant Antiques features a giant elephant and two half-elephant statues. They also have a giant Beach Guy statue. The large elephant and the Beach Guy were both moved here in 2006 from Benld, IL.
There were so many cool things to look at. Not only all the things on the outside, but there was an antiques mall inside an old school. There was a little ice cream stand outside so we all enjoyed a nice treat.
What an awesome place to pull over. It's pretty close to Henry's Rabbit Ranch, a great place to visit if you're looking for some rad roadside statue photos. They've got a muffler man, a massive tricycle, a weird statue of a boy holding an ice cream, and tons more.
The ice cream stand, Twistee Treat, was delicious. We visited in August and were pretty hot, so it really hit the spot.
All the statues were perfect for taking photos even on a cold windy day! One day I'll go back for the ice cream...
This was a great stop!!!! Awesome photo ops!!! Didn't get to go in the antique store, but the old school was very cool!
Cute things to take pics with. Fun to look through the antique store. Good stop.
Good stop. Fun photo ops, clean bathroom, the antiques were fun for the kids and you're winding through an old gymnasium. We had nachos and soft serve and everyone was wonderfully friendly.
The Pink Elephant is a nice place to stop at if you need a break and want to stretch your legs. The prices are a bit higher than the antique malls in my area (near Green Bay, Wi) but I imagine they can do that because it is kitschy. Some of the aisles are tight and showcases aren't clearly marked for the keys needed to open them. The vendors work there as part of their rent, so I cannot comment on the staff in general, but when I was there they were kind and helpful. It was very warm in the beginning of June when I was there. Leave your coat in the car - I don't believe they have air conditioning, and if they do, they use it sparingly. I found some fun items, and wouldn't be upset to go back.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Ice cream place was a also full service diner...there was also a Christmas shop and the antique mall to keep us occupied
Most unique antique store I've ever been too. I loved all the sculptures and things outside. Made for some good picture opportunities. The store itself is ginormous and you can spend easily an hour inside.
Fun, funky, and friendly!!! Love this antique spot, great mix of vendors and kind folks working the front desk. The diner is an adorable retro nod as well. Totally worth a stop if in the area.
