“258-acre park with zoo & lake!”
Micke Grove Park is a 258-acre park which remains one of the most popular attractions in San Joaquin County. The park features the Micke Grove Zoo, Wortley Lake, a three-acre lake accentuated by a 40-ft water fountain; The Japanese Garden, a favorite wedding spot with Cherry Blossom trees, Tea House and Koi pond; The San Joaquin County Historical Museum; and the Fun Town at Micke Grove, offering amusement rides, carnival-inspired treats and party packages. It also has Rental facilities with outdoor picnic shelters and indoor facilities for receptions, family reunions and corporate events; as well as softball fields, water play features, horseshoe pits and children’s playgrounds.
Are you willing to spend a day with your family while being at San Joaquin County? Then visit one of the most popular attraction of it, the Micke Grove Park. Hundreds of people from all around America and the world visit this place daily.
We specifically visited this place because we wanted to go to the zoo that contains a lot of wildlife animals of all kinds, (amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds) and get educated about them and their lifestyle.
But afterwards we could't resist visiting the massive fountain of Wortley Lake, the Japanese Garden with the gorgeous flowers, the historical Museum and at the end after spending such a full and long day...the fun park!!!
We all LOVED it while being there and next year is a must for us!!
