“a landmark of Long Hill”
The Stirling Hotel on Main Street was built in the early 1900s, has always been a landmark and widely known eatery in Long Hill Township. Victor Sarrailh owned the hotel early on and Dave Achille and family purchased it in the 1940s. Homemade turtle soup, clams on the half shell, and frog legs were the specialty items on the menu.
Food was yummy. We went for lunch on a Monday.... Not crowded, great for a large group including kids. There's a parking lot in the back - easier that parking on the street! Sit on the covered patio, it's quite delightful!
