My husband & I stayed at The Pointe. It was a special occasion, & we were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to a suite. A bottle of champagne was also waiting for us there, and we were also given a $25 voucher for dinner at Castle Hill's Dining Room.
Our room was spacious & very clean. It was in what looked like a new wing of the hotel. If you're planning on staying, ask to stay in the new wing!
We had breakfast at the hotel our first morning there, which was not included. I'd strongly suggest heading into Ludlow for breakfast at The Hatchery where you can get a MUCH better breakfast for the same cost as eating at the hotel.
Later that night we had dinner at Castle Hill. The inside of the castle is gorgeous & has an interesting history. The staff were very friendly & happy to accommodate my gluten intolerance, however, I was expecting more in the flavor department for as much as we spent. We make it a point to eat at fine dining establishments, and this was a bit disappointing.
Before we left we got a couple's massage at the spa on site. It was a wonderful way to end our stay there.
All in all, definitely a good value (if you skip dinner) & nice place to stay. Will return!
