Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden is a non-profit public education organization dedicated to promoting Earth-friendly gardening techniques, encouraging the use of drought-tolerant plants including California natives, and conserving our natural resources. Its mission is to promote Earth-friendly gardening for the conservation of water, wildlife and the well-being of our community. The garden features seven educational interpretive signs that provide a self-guided tour appropriate for ages twelve and older. Planned group tours can be arranged for a nominal fee, or one may volunteer and receive a free tour. The Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden is open to the public during normal park hours. It is a demonstration garden exhibiting drought tolerant plants and is a certified nature habitat containing many CA native plants.
