I cannot speak to swimming or fishing opportunities because it was too hot to venture far from our shaded site and the welcomed relief of the AC in our rig. But the park was easy to get to, easy to navigate, green and well shaded. There was a nice playground near us in the campground on the western side of the park. And the sites were spacious. We were just passing through for a couple nights. ATT cell service was excellent and we were able to work remotely with no problem.

We enjoyed our stay. Bathrooms spread out among the large camping area below the dam in the River Pond area. We had a nice corner spot. Large shade tree to park under. Electric and water. If you camp here you have a nice view of the lake but there are two site 094 is closest and has a pretty nice view. A lot of people out bu we think it is first weekend of 2021 park camping here. Standard state park experience. Friendly staff at camp shop also! More info about this site at EZAdventures.World

Overall it was a nice park. The showers were a little on the cooler side and it’s not as clean as I would like but overall not bad. It was a fair walk from my site to a bathroom if you don’t have your own option. Easy to reach from I 70. It was fairly quiet. The campsites are behind the dam. You hear the traffic going over the dam during the day. Most of the sites have water and electric both. There are cabins you can rent. The beach area has kayak and canoe rental. There is a laundry in a park store. A lot of stores within 15 minutes. I had Verizon three bars solid. So I’m spaces Verizon was two bars.

Wonderful level site directly on the water. Able to launch kayaks directly from site. Did get a lot of traffic through the site though, as everyone wants to launch from the little beach area on site.

The sites are quite large and level. We were there mid-Oct and there was hardly anyone there. The laundry and bathrooms needed to be cleaned but the grounds were very good.
