“sit-down lunches with an array of salads, deli items, plenty of baked goods & breads”
Bread and Ocean started as a “postage stamp” sized bakery across from the Manzanita Post Office in 2003. The owner, Julie Barker, after owning and operating the Blue Sky Cafe down the street for 17 years, decided to accept the daunting challenge (and hours) of the baking world. In 2006 the opportunity to move into a larger space (and coincidentally the now closed Blue Sky) arose, and we packed up and moved into this beautiful, remodeled space, over twice the size of the original bakery. We offer sit-down lunches with an array of salads and deli items, plenty of baked goods and breads and catering services. Our meats are baked in-house. Our tuna is sustainable from Oregon. Local and organic products are used whenever possible.
Bread and Ocean offers sit-down lunches with an array of salads and deli items, plenty of baked goods and breads, catering services, and bistro style dinners on the weekends.
