We spent a morning there March 2014. It was off season in the area so we had the place to ourselves. We wanted to pan for gold, as we have done the gemstones in the past. We purchased the $100.00 bag of dirt and started the job of finding the $100.00 nugget. We found many smaller pieces and one large "nugget". One of the older gentlemen there, I assume he works there, showed us his "Hersey kiss" nugget. All in all it was a nice time and would probably go back when in the area.

Love this place. Plan was to spend the day and find a hotel nearby for the night. Ended up just renting a campsite since we had our trailer, along the small river. Kids had a great time food was decent and staff was very friendly will be back
