From Hwy 7 in Marlin: Go Hwy Business 6 South 2.1 miles to FM 712 SW 2.97 miles to Falls on the Brazos Park on left. All Year, 14 RV and tent sites $ 15 a night, 1 RV Riverside site $20 a night, electric & water hookups, tables, grills, public toilets, public showers and dumpster. Located in Falls County, this 28-mile section of the Brazos River is a scenic section suitable for recreational use at any time. The river is very wide and low water levels often create shallow areas. The scenery contains high earthen banks and much vegetation. The river is sluggish and slow-moving with no existing rapids. However, there is one area which could prove hazardous to recreational use. This area contains a small waterfall which stretches across the river left from remants of the old bridge. If the water level is fairly high, the falls are are not navigable. This county park has been constructed adjacent to the falls.
