Jeffrey's is different. Jeffrey's is better. Owner, Serge Karanov, came to the Bay Area from the Soviet Union at the age of 19 with $100 in his pocket. His fresh perspective and drive has given us burger lovers something to savor.  Serge has too much pride in his recipes to take the usual shortcuts that lead to soulless meals. At Jeffrey's, fresh Angus beef is ground on premise each day. Soups are made from scratch and crisp salads are served using only the freshest fruits and produce. Thick, creamy shakes arrive in a classic malt shop-style glass -- a nostalgic blast from the past. Serge and his staff pay attention to detail and in an invigorating, but old world style, serve traditional American dishes in the best way possible. The atmosphere is welcoming to all; a page from the golden age of diners and soda fountains. Customers feel like they are part of something fun... something special... and they are.
