Beautiful place for hiking. You can start from Hubbard park and take various trails which passes I-691. You can drive to top between May to Oct from 10 am to 4:45 pm. On top, you can take east or west side trails to enjoy beautiful views. Castle Craig was designed by same person who designed New York City Central Park. Elevation of Castle Craig is approximately 1,000 ft above sea level.

Castle Craig is actually the highest point within 25 miles of the shore from Maine to Florida. If you arrive in the spring through the fall you’re able to drive to the top and enjoy the beautiful view. If you arrive after October 31 then you’ll have to hike up to the top. There are some great singletrack trails where you can walk 3 to 5 mile loop and enjoy spectacular views.
