Undercliff State Hospital - Undercliff Sanatorium was built in 1910 and was the first in the country to be exclusively for children. Over the course of its time it had 5 name changes and eventually opened up to offer services to adult patients as well.
Like many places this large facility is off limits to the public, but that hasn't stopped explorers and ghost hunters alike from trying to get in there. Many report of going inside and hearing lockers shut, banging noises, seeing ghosts, and other frightful events.
Today, some of the outlying buildings are still in use by patients of the state and their caregivers but the main building is boarded up and closed.
It has been given the nickname Cliffside Hospital.
