Cottonwood Lake State Rec Area

Cottonwood Lake State Recreation Area, located in Cherry County, has a typical sandhills lake encompassing 60 acres and 180 acres of land adjacent. The area is partially forested and offers power boating, picnicking and swimming. The area has a playground and is located near the Arthur Bowring Ranch State Historical Park. Come spend a night under the stars and wake up to the waves quietly slipping to shore, or explore the lake by boat. Any way you take advantage of this area is bound to be a fun time.
