“outdoor adventures”
The Mescalero tribe's mountainous lands present exciting opportunities for outdoor adventurers. Hunting, fishing, hiking, clay shooting and biking opportunities are found throughout the area. The Apache Maidens’ Puberty Rites are held every 4th of July, and the public is welcome to attend the rodeos, parade, traditional Apache dances, and the Coming of Age Ceremony. No cameras are allowed, but this is a celebration that won’t be forgotten.
Its just another town on the map. A big casino called Gods of the mountain. The bush looked lush and healthy if you are into bush walking not much else here. Except peoples little town
The Lincoln Forrest is beautiful and the Apache Reservation is even more beautiful and well cared. At the end of october, the colors and the lights were amazing, the trees are majestic. Wish i could have spent more than a few hours there.
