“quiet campground in amish country”
Come visit Amish Country's newest campground! Opened in the fall of 2011, it is a brand new facility that is locally owned and only two miles west of downtown Berlin on State Route 39. With our great rates; we offer convenient, free wi-fi and 30/50 amp services at every campsite. There is easy access for big rigs and level pull through sites, all while being perfectly placed right in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country. Enjoy watching horse and buggies rolling by while you sit around your campfire, or take a walk through our hiking trails in the woods. You will appreciate the peace and quiet and may see some of the abundant wildlife which makes their home here. You may also want to take in the downtown Berlin shopping, go to the flea markets or visit the attractions in nearby Charm, Walnut Creek, Mt. Hope or Millersburg, which are all less than 10 minutes away.

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on May 20, 2023park is easy enough to find, Reservation system was a scratch pad, so before you arrive call to make sure you are on the list might be in order. Most of the sites are not shaded and the sites are close together. Water pressure and Power were fine. Our site was along the treeline and was not very level on a gravel pad.
Guessing there must be a lot of long term or weekend campers as there were a large number of trailers and not very many people. so it could be very busy and noisy on the weekend
The shower house was clean and the water was very hot. The shower stalls were very spacious.

Let me begin by saying the showers are fantastic! (Had some bad experiences lately) Each shower has it’s own little room with a sink and mirror. The washer/dryer are new and reasonably priced.
Most of the sites are pull through which is convenient.
Firewood is available at a reasonable cost.
Really, my only two complaints are the sites have no shade and the Wi-Fi is terrible.
I would def stay here again.

Just back from a weekend in Amish country. This park is a perfect spot for early autumn and will likely become a family tradition. Weather was great, trees were beautiful, and lots of activities on the various farms and villages in the area. Hershberger Farm was amazing. The petting zoo and store were outstanding. The park is well equipped, bathrooms and nice and clean, a few outdoor activities. Probably would go in the heart of summer as it’s very exposed and no pool.

We travel with have our F250 and 36 ft fifth wheel. Check in was easy and the young lady in the office was pleasant and answered are questions. Locating our site was easy and was a pull through with full hook ups. Hook ups were placed in a nice spot. The site was also fairly level! This park does not have all the “fun” things to do, but that’s because you spend your day in Berlin, Walnut Creek, Sugar Creek shopping and also visiting Amish restaurants, bakeries & cheese stores!! The park does have a nice playground, basketball court, corn hole and a sand volleyball court if you are up to any of that after spending the day in town! 🤪 The park does have a laundry room with two washers (top loading)and two dryers.I forgot to check on the cost l to use them, sorry. They have showers and restrooms that are clean. If you have the time and energy check out the two trails that take you into the woods behind the park! The only down size that we could think of was the highway noise, but again we were out most of the day and at night it did get lighter so you can sleep, at least we could.
We loved our stay here!

Just an enjoyable stay! Was booked in conjunction with having the Spring 2023 RVRN (RV Radio Network) Rally here. Superb owner and staff. Well maintained. Clean (really!!) bathrooms. Laundry facility was good with 2 washers and 2 dryers - wash at $2.50/load and dryer at $2.25/load - $10 rolls of quarters available at the office. Nicely terraced gravel sites with almost all being a pull-through and with each having a picnic table and a fire ring. Wood and kindling was quite available and very reasonable. Office closed on Sunday (not a negative either). Sort of got used to the passing trucks' "jake brakes". Overall - just an enjoyable stay! We are already planning on returning for next year's RVRN Spring Rally! Note: the normal rate is $58; we paid just over $52 due to either being a senior (10% off) or being with the RVRN group
