“Training vets for a career in food service.”
Our mission at Troop Café is to serve the community by offering affordable, high quality meals to the public, while providing job skills training for military veterans with barriers to employment. We are staffed by U.S. veterans, as well as our partners in the non-profit community, creating a vocational training program in a real world environment. Troop Café is fighting on the front lines of the future. Our vision is to build a stable community business that uses all of its profits to fund its own growth. As the decades pass, a family of Troop Café’s will be born to cities across America. Employment opportunities will be created for any U.S. military veterans that have the will to help themselves. Troop Café is a nonprofit, social enterprise of the Center for Veterans Issues, Ltd.
