“One of North America's top 5 gardens”
Ladew Topiary Gardens is a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization whose mission is “to maintain and promote the gardens, house and facilities in keeping with the creative spirit of Harvey S. Ladew for the public benefit and for educational, scientific and cultural pursuits.” Both House and Gardens are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Ladew Topiary Gardens opened to the public in 1971. It hosts approximately 80 annual events which include the My Lady’s Manor Steeplechase Races, Garden Festival, the Summer Concert Series, Children’s Nature Camps, Children’s Day, Christmas Open House and spring and fall educational programs.
We visited Ladew Gardens May 1st of 2022 as an early Mother’s Day event. It was a great choice! The flowers were stunning and so colorful! Ladew is a beautiful place for photography and admiring plant life. Even if you just want to go and feel like Alice in Wonderland! I highly recommend taking a stroll!
