Our dogs were in the rv and the management did not notify owners. Could have been terrible. Flat dusty parking lot. NO trees in park. BAD part of town. Run down and dirty. Sad place to be.
We chose this campground because of its proximity to Montgomery (one of our favorite cities). It's basically a side by side open campground with no privacy between sites, but it's clean and well-run, and the price is right for full hook-ups. The wifi is some of the best we've experienced in a campground. And it's just a few miles from beautiful downtown Montgomery where there is so much to do and see. Our rate was with Good Sam.

Ran out of steam at 8pm and stopped fir fuel at TA. Campground right across street. Large park with easy access. Many fast food restaurants nearby. After hours number called and told to take any available spot. Only cash or credit card when office open. Nice pull through. Flat gravel space. Didn’t get to enjoy much since we had to be on the road again early. Near freeway so has a bit of noise but great place fir our needs.

Just spent 1 night heading back home after a week of camping. The people were very nice and helpful. Easy pull-through, level spaces, easy hookups with 20, 30 & 50 amp service. Great wifi and cable included. The spaces themselves are pretty basic and not many trees but that wasn't important to us. They did have a nice playground and open area for kids to run and play as well as a Pavilion/Stage area. Easy access off the freeway and although another review mentioned noise, we didn't hear any from Site 303 which is near the highway end.

This campground has 7 rows of pull-through full hook-up sites. The rear 4 rows are more long-term tenants (though no permanent residents) and the front 3 are mainly for transients. For the size of the campground, it is surprisingly quiet. You can hear I-65 when outside but even with busy route 80 in front, there is no noticeable noise inside. Many big-rigs (class A and 5th wheels) come and go every day but it never seems congested. The office staff runs things very efficiently, are great about receiving and organizing mail and packages, and answering questions. There are large grassy areas on all sides for walking the dogs and a big pond in the back. The laundry and shower house is well maintained (wash/dry $1.50 each). A dumpster, propane, and very basic dump station are right at the entrance. A small playground and pavilion are available. Camp WiFi is pretty typical - comes and goes and not fast enough for streaming, but cell signals are robust. My rate reflects a daily breakdown of the monthly rate. Route 80 was being resurfaced during my entire stay but only presented an occasional inconvenience when entering or departing the park. It should be very nice when completed.

The Woods Rv Park and Campground, located in Montgomery, Alabama.
The gentleman at the front desk was friendly, polite, and everything you'd hope for after hours on the road. Our weekly cost with Good Sam discount was $201.25. There are daily and monthly prices available also.
The park is just off of a major road. Outside of our unit I can hear the road noise, inside, not as clearly. At night the road noise was all but nonexistent.
Interior roads and all of the sites are gravel. The sites are narrow but long, and there isn't that much room between them. It has been raining for several days and the park shows it. With the clay mixture in the soil, it doesn't drain well and there is standing water everywhere.
The laundry and shower houses are in need of renovating. While clean, age and stains make them appear dirtier than they actually are, and there is a smell in the laundry room that is reminiscent of some of my desert deployments. For those doing laundry, it is $1.50 per wash, and $1.50 per dry.
While I pointed out a few negatives, the park is perfectly acceptable. They have full hook ups and cable, and for those that only do over the air, there are many channels available.

Super convenient to the highway and easy to get into. Big rig friendly
The gentleman at the check in desk was great and the process was smooth
Flat sites and the water pressure was as advertised - very high
Internet access was the reason we stayed here and we spent more time connecting, reconnecting and waiting on pages than we did working. We got several error messages and availability was sporadic. I called the desk, but there wasn't much they could do. We were able to get on before 6 am, but once people were up it slowed to a snails pace.
The park is in an industrial area which isnt bad, but when I went across the street to fuel up, I was approached by a 'professional'. It was good to see I still got it, but gas station call girls aren't really my thing. That is not the parks fault at all, but it made me be sure to check that all of our compartments were locked tightly

Great campground for a 1 night stay between destinations. Very clean and easy to get to right off of highway 65. We arrived after normal hours, but package was available for us at the front porch. Verizon signal was between one and two bars of signal. The main negative that made me give this only 3 stars was they allowed a long term resident to have a dog tied up outside all night. I could tell the campground allowed it because they had a fairly large dog house outside for the dog. The dog was barking all through the night. One big positive was the site size. We were able to fit our 40ft Class A, small trailer and a Jeep and still had room.

We stayed here to visit the sites of downtown Montgomery and it was perfectly located for that. For an urban park it was roomy and peaceful. Except for the constant drone of traffic it was quiet too. No amenities except a laundry with wimpy dryers but there is a large pond with geese to stroll around. It would be nice if they built a fence around all the construction debris that is right at the front entrance.

The park was clean and easy to get in and out of. The area is a bit difficult to navigate in a rig due to a funky median system. Lots of fast food around but it seems a lot if the gas stops have gone out of business. Full hookups at the sites which were all pull through. Definitely would stay overnight on a trip again.
