“offering a unique & entertaining interpretive indoor adventure”
The Trail Center brings the whole history of Travelling along the Oregon Trail alive for the visitor. The wagon master skillfully makes you part of a wagon train leaving from Independence, MO for the promise of free land in the Oregon Territory. The reenactment of the diaries of women who actually traveled the Trail in the 1890s adds more meaning to the experience.
This is a great stopping point/bathroom break if you are passing by. They have a great playground in the back for kids and a picnic area.
I wouldn't drive far out it the way for this one.
