Thursday $3 Jager Bombs and everyday $2 Keystone, $2.50 Rolling Rock, and all day everyday $1.50 drafts. We offer a full menu. The kitchen is open from noon until 10pm. Any fan of steak should definitely come check out our unbeatable New York Strip steak dinner special which comes with choice of potato & salad, offered daily, for just $7.50. There are weekday lunch specials and a Friday night fish fry. Marty's Bar is located at 123 S. Main Street in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Previously named Cascarelli's, Marty's took on it's current name when now-owner Marty Naumes bought the bar in December 1987. Since then Marty, who is known by many in the ever-expanding town of Mt. Pleasant as "The Legend", has owned and operated the bar, and has witnessed (and contributed to) the many cosmetic changes the bar has seen over the years. Originally named The Transport Trucking Company in the 1920's, Transport built 134 trucks in 1921 including the Fire Truck on display in front of the Mount Pleasant Public safety building. This truck was rescued from a junkyard near Scottville and was fully restored in the early 1970's by the students at the Mount Pleasant High School auto shop. The Transport Trucking Company officially became the Transport Bar shortly after prohibition ended in the 1930's. Today, Marty's Bar is a lively locality that has something special to offer to everyone. During the daytime hours, it is a local favorite for lunch, a mid-day game, or a few drinks to catch up with friends. At night, it transitions into a laid-back, groovy little place where people come to unwind and have a little fun. Morning, noon or night, Marty's Bar offers a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that is enjoyed by people young and old. Be sure to check out Marty's Bar if you are in the area. A great place for food & spirits!
