“Kampgrounds of America”
The rural beauty of northeast Texas makes this a truly wonderful year-round destination as well as a quiet and peaceful overnight respite. The campground has plenty of shady Pull-Thru RV Sites alongside an undisturbed field, with a catch-and-release fishing pond. You'll find all the great KOA attractions: a swimming pool, rec room with pool table, children's play area, horseshoes, Kamp K9, air-conditioned laundry, free Wi-Fi and beautiful restrooms. Walk to nearby restaurants, then head into town for shopping. Local lakes provide sport for the angler, and the Mount Pleasant Country Club offers an excellent public course (just down the road). Enjoy the mild winters! Pool: May 15 - September 30. Max pull thru: 80 feet.

BBQ joint & Dollar General within easy walking distance from campground (practically across the street). Lowes hardware not far away off I30. Great rates. $35.95 with KOA membership for pull through, full hookup, Internet, cable.
$39.95 non KOA rate.
The only problem with staying at KOA's and booking online is you have to take the website's word for whether the sites are really long enough to accommodate your rig. This campground didn't have a site long enough for us, we had to park our truck in a different lot even tho the rules said not to.
When you advertise 75 foot lots, they should be. This lot was barely long enough to fit our rig (39') Pool was closed. Said it would open when they could get it inspected. Did not state that on their website.
The park was very clean and well kept, tho.

Overall the KOA was decent, the Bathrooms were very clean the staff was great and provided great service. The facility could use some overall better upkeep and improvements. WIFI signal was great but we had challenges connecting. ATT cell/ data signal was decent. For the price I would expect more in regards to the facilities.

We were here for a month for work. This is a nice little KOA that is family run. The pool, laundry and bathrooms are very nice and they were working on upgrading the playground when we were there (10//2018).

Very neat and tidy. We were only there for one night. It wasn’t far off of I-30 but we couldn’t hear the highway traffic. They put us in a pull through where we could stay connected (we are 50’ long). This was the cleaned most well maintained KOA I’ve seen. The pool looked very nice and sat up on a hill so it did have some privacy. Lots of trees all throughout the campground. We arrived after 6:00 and they had our welcome package outside waiting for us.

We would highly recommend the Mount Pleasant KOA. We stayed two nights, and could not say enough positive comments about this site! The staff were out of this world! Incredibly friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to ensure our time was enjoyable. The campground itself has amazing amenities, including a beautiful lake!! Wonderful site for the family, and only miles from the Isle of Palms beach and Sullivan’s Island. Would HIGHLY recommend!

1st time ever at any KOA. It’s very clean and very quiet. The bathrooms/showers…. Cleanest I’ve seen ANYWHERE! Next time though, I will get a bigger cabin for me, my husband and our teenagers. I was trying to save money… Sleeping was tight, one teen ended up on the floor. Not the fault of this KOA, but on me. I do recommend this KOA, quick stop off the interstate. Applebee’s is a mile away and that food was good as well. Great job Mount Pleasant!!
