Cold Creek Inn & Suites is a “green” lodging establishment. We feature “Energy Star” compliant equipment (TVs, fridges, microwaves…), double-paned windows for sound reduction and energy efficiency, 2 large, highly efficient water heaters (replacing 8 average heaters), CFL lighting where possible, low VOC paint which gives no off-gassing fumes, the most energy-efficient and clean building materials available (ie non-formaldehyde insulation), and carpet containing recycled fibers from plastic water bottles. In addition, we use non toxic and biodegradable cleaning solutions, natural shampoos and soaps and recycled paper in our office.
