As a country fan in my early 20s I can honestly say that there wasn't a lot that appealed to me. As many exhibits were dedicated to musicians before my time. However, I can certainly appreciate the older musicians, and what they've done to pave the way for artists today.

Towards the end of the museum there were current artist exhibits which were more to my taste.

It's definitely worth the trip if you appreciate country as a genre, but if you are just into the current music on the radio, you can likely pass it up.

This place truly holds up the title real well! Though it was not what I thought, I have definitely learned a lot about the history of country music and near-forgotten country singers who were famous before my time. This place is excellent if you want to learn about the history of country music and how the oldies created and fashioned country music during their era. Seldom will you see modern artists or singers who are currently famous today (ex: Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Sugarland, etc.). The memorabilia for those artists are not present, at least not right now. My favorite mini-exhibit is Taylor's Swarovski gem-filled guitar! Taylor's Education Center is a nice addition to the museum as well.

If you are interested in American County music, it is well worth the money. If you are "whatever ", save your money for some local beer.

Huge. Enjoyed Kenny Rogers Exhibit, but of course I grew up with this music. Early country music development was also very interesting. Might have enjoyed more information about country gospel, which has had a major impact on America. There was a lot of space about new country music artists, while a few of the other legends had a lot less attention. Would have liked to see more on Chet Atkins, George Jones, and others. Maybe if the Hall of Fame cannot give them their due, provide us with information where we can learn more, like their own museum?

The building is gigantic. I'm not a country music fan but I actually enjoyed myself here. Loads of memorabilia, instruments and fun stuff. The gift shop is outrageously expensive so if you want to save some cash stick to taking pictures.
