Chef Jamie Watson brings his passion for cooking and teaching to East Nashville with Cafe Fundamental. Coining his cooking style "southern classique," he combines his classic French training with Southern influences. Who knew the East Side would become so hip that there'd be a little French cafe nestled in between The Family Wash and the railroad tracks? Blink and you'll miss this small and unassuming restaurant. It's not in the typical spot where you'd go to dine in East Nashville, but don't overlook this divine and delicious little gem. The service is superb and the ambiance relaxing, but nowhere else in Nashville will you have food like this.
