Rolf and Daughters is a neighborhood restaurant located in the historic 100-year-old Werthan Factory building in Germantown Nashville. Our food draws on Northern Italian and Mediterranean influences with Southern ingredients to create a dynamic and seasonally driven menu. Our take on “modern peasant food,” involves thoughtful cooking rooted in a commitment for using the best ingredients available in the moment and a passion for executing classic techniques. We take reservations for dinner by phone, you can leave a message and we will call you back to confirm. We keep our communal tables and bar open for walk-in guests on a first-completed, first-sat basis. We encourage you to visit without a reservation; when there is a wait, we’ll happily take your name and phone number at the door and call you when seats become available.
Chef Phil Krajeck calls his cuisine "peasant food," but that doesn't do justice to the richly sauced, handmade pastas, delicately prepared fish and perfectly cut tartare he puts out. With its communal seating and sparse, industrial aesthetic, the brick-walled Germantown restaurant has become a hot spot, attracting regulars who come as often for the sourdough and seaweed butter as they do for the expertly made cocktails.
Going back for a second time in one week to take advantage of their unique flavor combinations, fresh ingredients and creative cocktail menu.
Oh my God, the cocktails. They're so complex and fresh and creative. Yes, they're expensive, but seriously get one.
