“pig out heaven”
Welcome to "the pig out in barbeque" where "it's swine dining at it's finest"! the pig out inn opened in 1996 in natchez, ms one block from the mighty mississippi river at 116 s. canal street. the owners anne and archie willett lived in dallas, texas for many years and learned the barbeque trade from friends who own several "bakers ribs bbq" in the dallas area. the pig opened with a "bang" in march of that year during the spring pilgrimage and has been "smoking" ever since.
Local counter-service BBQ joint that serves up delicious grub for hungry roadtrippers. They cook their meat on wood-fired stoves and you can wash down your meal with a nice cold beer.
Very tender pulled pork sandwich with sweet, warm barbecue sauce. Great beans!!
In February, during my stay in Natchez, I went every day to the Pig Out Inn, the friendliest, most delicious BBQ place for hundreds of miles. They have a great Blues collection and smoke their meat exactly to my taste. Growing up in Memphis I've eaten a lot of delicious. BBQ in my day. I give The Pig Out's BBQ five stars. It was delicious! I'm heading back to Natchez next week and will be definitely stopping by for another plate of fine BBQ and conversation with the owners.
