This was a great spot to over night. Make sure as you enter to keep going past the first set of campsites. The camp ground has a pond with fish. Some of the rv spots have water and electrical, no sewer but cost was only $20.

Tent camping: Primitive (clean) bathrooms (no running water for showers, washing hands, or brushing teeth) stocked with hand sanitizer.
Very pretty grounds, lots of geese (and geese poop), and accommodating staff.
For the price point $10, if you have young kids and like to kick back a few brews while the kids run ragged this is your place. If you like a quieter (alcohol free) place you may want to pay a little more and try another campground.

There are 54 camping spots with 30 amp & 50 amp electrical service, both of which are available for $15.00 per night (non electric sites are the same price). You can also tent camp pretty much anywhere in the park (we saw many people who had set up camp by the ponds) for $10.00. Note that the ponds are pretty murky with green muck floating on top, great for fishing, but not much else. All camping spots are all first come, first served, as reservations are not accepted.
We arrived at sunset on a Saturday night and most sites were taken, so we went all the way to the last loop (campground 4) and found a great site (no site numbers in that area) with 2 covered picnic tables and fire rink (but no services). The site are far from each other in that part of the park and it was very quiet.

We pulled in here for a night on a cross country trip from CA to WI. Cute little place with grassy sites and a pretty little lake. We woke in the morning to an aggressive lawn mower who came far too close to our airstream for comfort many times, appearing to mow over the same spots multiple times. Maybe he was just joyriding? It was pretty strange, but only slightly dampened our opinion of the plaice. We’d stay again.

Nice little campground very close to I-80.
Arrived after dark and was a little worried about finding a spot since in fleas a Friday night.
Drop box for check-in and payment. $20 per site. Some have electric hookups (30-50). Water is available at a filling station near the check-in. The campground is divided into loops - some for tents and some for RVs. We found a back-in site with electric in loop 3.
Campground was filled with people and kids running around by flashlight when we arrived around 8:30, but it was quiet before 10 pm.
Bonus - I found the campground has free Wifi!

This county park was very easy to find off the highway for a quick overnight stay. Campground 1 is perfect for easy in and easy out, however, it was full when we arrived. The campground is first come first served. Campground 3 is a bit difficult to park when other campers have multiple cars. The park has many locals that bring guests and extra cars that make the road more narrow than it actually is. Despite this, I would stay again on my way through the area.
