“many flavors for fine dinning or grazing”
Friar Tuck’s on the corner of Pine & Commercial Street in Nevada City’s Historic District has been a festive dining and lounge experience in the evenings since 1973. Friar Tuck’s features a friendly fun staff, live music nightly, and many flavors for fine dinning or grazing. In March of 2002, a huge fire burned a group of buildings in the center of town to the ground, including Friar Tuck’s Restaurant & Bar. Since then it has been totally rebuilt with walls of brick from the old building and custom lighting with chandeliers reminisent of age old monasteries. Dine in the cozy booths or in the magical ‘Sherwood Forest Room’, and join with the locals and visitors that continue to gather at the beautiful new triple arch hand carved mahogany pub bar.
