Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo

I’ve visited many independent zoos and this is perhaps the cleanest and best kept I’ve ever been to! The animals are all happy and clean. The help is friendly and interactive, overall a wonderful experience!

We visited the Snake Farm Zoo for the first time today. It was a great experience! Children under 2 are free, so we thought we would get in a visit before our daughter’s 2nd birthday. She loved it! There are plenty of fun and interesting animals to see, including male and female white lions and two Jaguars. The reptile house is full of exotic snakes and other animals. They have shows and animal demonstrations every 30 minutes throughout most of the zoo. We loved seeing a lemur and an alligator up close during our visit. Our daughter also enjoyed that there are lots of chickens roaming around the grounds. We highly recommend a visit to this zoo! Be sure to add the mealworms and petting zoo feed to your admission (only a few dollars more), so that you can fully experience what this zoo has to offer!

Excellent! If you are within 1 hour of this place, take the extra time to go. Our 6 and 7 year olds loved it, as well as my husband and me. Call ahead and ask when they feed the carnivores - so worth it. We were 5 ft from the trainer feeding hyenas. It is a certified zoo and there are plans to expand. We will definitely be back.
