First, the staff at this campground are super friendly and helpful! This campground was overall nice. The location was perfect to get away into nature, or drive a little bit into Indianapolis; which is what we did. There was not much privacy between sites, and our site was VERY difficult to back into due to a few trees and other obstacles in the way (and we only have a 21 ft travel trailer). It was very stressful.
We loved the close proximity to the lake and the location of the park. If we ever come back to this campground it will definitely be in a different site.

We stayed here two nights. The park is clean. The bathrooms were good. Plenty of space for kids to play. Lake is great. You can rent boats. Camp store was far away from the camp site. You’d have to drive or bike there. AT&T cell service was good. Data and voice worked great.

Though we were here only overnight, we would come back again and stay longer. The sites along the lake are the best and have lots of shade!

We've been to Summit Lake several times before, but have never stayed at the campground. The hiking is great. We've taken a boat out before. This time, however, the smell of sewage was strong as soon as we entered the campground. We had a site with water, but it ran brown. Needless to say, we kept our windows shut and used bottled water instead of site water for cooking, drinking, and brushing teeth. Hopefully they correct the issue soon.
