When you taste our wine, you're tasting the flavors of this place. We're the largest grape producer in the state of Vermont, and we're the only winery in America to win three Best of Show awards (in '09, '10, and '11) at the International Cold Climate Wine Competition. We have a hilltop of good Vermont land just outside Middlebury; short, hot summers and cool, sunny autumns; a dedicated farm crew to tend the vines; meticulous devotion to the best winemaking techniques-- put it all together and what you get are some of the most refined and delicious Vermont wines from a new and emerging winegrowing region.
