Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on October 19, 2022We have stayed here many times over the last 10 years. Always a pleasure. The sites are level and large enough for our big rig. The caverns are a must see. Lots to do in the surrounding areas.
Wonderful find!Quiet, clean and pleasant staff!
We stopped due to the park proximity to I-81 in Shenandoah Valley, Va. The park was convenient for a one night stopover for us and we almost immediately began planning a return trip to explore and enjoy this RV Park over more days. The young man who greeted us and the one escorted us to our site were both pleasant and friendly. The check-in was quick and we were in our site in no time. The escort (David) suggested several options for making an easy swing to position for the back-in site and left it up to me which option suited me best. Helpful, yet not pushy.
The landscaping at each site was really well done; rocks outlining each site, all sites and roads stoned.
Wifi was very fast (2 park networks), but probably due to so few people in the park (off season and a weekday).
Pool looked very nice, but wasn't open yet. Recreation Room had a NASCAR theme and looked like it would be fun for the kids. Huge television in there and some arcade games.
All 3 bathrooms were clean and looked recently remodeled and tiled.
We stayed in a popup camper and the $19 price above reflects Passport America discount along with midweek and back-in rates.

We only used the park for a nightly stop over as we traveled I-81, but this park would be a great destination stop. The park is also home to the Endless Caverns. Visitors to the RV Park get a $5 discount on the cavern tour tickets. Our price reflects the one night Passport America fee. The park is wooded but does have open spots where you can get satellite. It reminds us more of a state park with large sites and plenty of space between neighbors. Sites are tiered up the hill. We were escorted to our site and our guide stopped to make sure all was fine. Many of the sites are not level but large enough that you can move around to get level. Sites are FHU and have cable. They have a beautiful zero-entry swimming pool with a mushroom splash area for children. The pool is one of the nicest we've seen at a park. It located behind the Rec Center away from the camping sites and surrounded by the woods. There is a large deck with tables and chairs, as well as, recliners. The Rec room has a huge flat screen TV where movies are shown and large open space that would accommodate large gathering. There are many hiking trails from the campground including one up to the Endless Caverns sign which is lit Thursday thru Sunday where you can hike and watch the sunset. We would stay here again if traveling in the area.

Endless Caverns is a very nice rustic campground with many large sites. Some are tucked back in matures trees and others are more open, so there is something for everyone. We are a big rig and had no problems getting into and around the campground. They provide a follow-me escort to get you to your site safely and efficiently--a nice perk when maneuvering a large RV. Endless Caverns is close to Shenandoah National Park, Civil War museums, caverns for you spelunkers, and several towns with essential amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we're back in this area.

Earl and I were on a string of one-night stopovers during our return trip to Florida and chose Endless Caverns in New Market, Virginia as a place to spend the night. For these kind of stops, I often prefer a pull-through site (easy in and out and I don’t have to unhitch). Every few days I like to have an on-site sewer connection. Endless Caverns offered all of this at the somewhat steep price of $61 for site E34.
The drive-in from the US Route 11 was beautiful. Exactly what I remembered country roads in Virginia to be like from growing up there. The camp hosts were friendly and I was promptly escorted to the site which was level in the central area. All was good.
But there was a weird aspect to this park. Maybe it was that we stayed there on the Wednesday after Labor Day weekend. In any case, it was certainly not crowded. In our section it seemed as though only 10%, or so, of the sites were occupied. I don’t know the reason. Maybe price was a factor. Maybe it was a post-holiday weekend lull.
Since we were there only overnight, I didn’t try any of the amenities. There is no wi-if to my knowledge, or at least it was not mentioned at check-in. Cell service on ATT was good.
Earl and I would consider staying here again if traveling this part of Virginia, but we would probably look at other options.

We stayed in early June. The pool had just opened and it was COLD! Our campsite was large enough to accommodate our 38’ travel trailer, tow vehicle, and extra car with no problems. There were many, many larger rigs at the campground. In spite of the campground being at almost capacity, you couldn’t tell. It was quiet. When it gets dark, it gets really dark. The trees keep you shaded nicely and we didn’t need to use our a/c at all. The laundry leaves a bit to be desired for larger families, but doesn’t cost much. $1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry. Get change at the store because they don’t have a change machine in the bathhouse. The bathhouse is a WiFi hotspot, though. We greatly enjoyed the guided tour of the caverns. It seems expensive, but there’s a discount for campground guests and it’s worth every penny.
Watch out for daddy longleg spiders after dark, though! They live in the stone retaining walls and come out in droves when twilight hits.

We didn’t use all of the facilities but it was a beautiful spot and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will come back to enjoy the resort including the caverns. We used it to have a spot for our fifth wheel and went motorcycle riding around the area. They say the sunsets are magnificent but it was cloudy during our stay.

We stayed here for a break from our trip south. Campground is very rolling and hilly but this did not prove to be a problem. Our site was large enough for accommodating another 43’er as well! Most site are well separated and large. Full hook ups make for flexibility in your stay. Staff was terrific. We enjoyed the cavern tour while here. Would definitely come back.
New Market Battlefield Museum made for a good day. Suggest coming into campground from the south side. If you exit on the north, getting onto art 11 requires a tight right hand turn in downtown New Market. This was tough given our length.
Walmart Supercenter and Food Lion in Timberville. All other major retail in Harrisonburg.
