What an amazing museum about World War II! If you are in the area, be sure to stop. It takes all day to do and some people go back for a 2nd day. We were fortunate to do it in Feb. 2020 (during covid - fortunately we were vaccinated). There were only about 25 people there and it was amazing for sure! Definited add to your list of museums to see!!!
Cannot recommend this enough. I went on back to back days, first day to go alone and scout it out for the family. I spent 6 hours and didn't get through everything I wanted to. It's awe-inspiring on so many levels. The Exhibits about the Road to Japan and the Road to Berlin were some of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Even bringing the family, with young kids was a full day, they loved it and learned so much from it. If you have children you NEED to bring them to this so they can learn about what we were fighting for.
