“offers something for everyone”
Since the opening of the first Reginelli's Pizzeria in 1996, Darryl Reginelli and Bruce Erhardt have prided themselves on having a restaurant that offers something for everyone. By combining a unique menu and wide array of fresh ingredients with a cool, modern décor, the two were able to bring together a contemporary atmosphere with old world Italy. Both share a love of great food and the dedication to bring it to everyone else. Darryl's love of the restaurant industry and its customers, combined with Bruce's eagerness to use his business experience to launch a company that would be successful on a larger scale, guided the two. Darryl's brother Reggie, an accomplished attorney and a standout Tulane University athlete in the 80s, gave much recognition to the family name and provided much real estate know-how to complete the concept. The goal of Reginelli's Pizzeria was to add some variety and sense of humor to the New Orleans "eating out" experience. When the first store opened on the corner of State and Magazine, its food and charm quickly drew a loyal following from all walks of life. The early years on State Street would pave the way for the growth that Bruce and Darryl had hoped for their establishment. Filling the restaurant with top quality employees, all sharing their taste for great food and their vision of success, would be a lasting attribute to the company. Inside the cozy kitchen of the original Reginelli's a new type of family began. That family expanded with the opening of new stores in Lakeview in 1999; Harahan in 2001; Magazine Street in 2003; and Kenner in 2004. As the Reginelli's Pizzeria family continues to grow, it remains committed to the same standard for quality food, consistent service, and the relaxed family atmosphere that started it all.
