The cuisine at August is contemporary French with a focus on local ingredients, inspired by Chef John Besh's classical training here and in Europe. August is located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District. The interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors. The main dining area caters to the most unique dining experience and is comprised of three breath taking rooms: the elegant main dining room with its signature crystal chandeliers, the two-story wine room and the intimate Gravier room.
