“A spirited restaurant south of Bourbon”
The Commander's Family of Restaurants returns to the French Quarter, where the family business began in the 1950's, with our Spirited Restaurant - SoBou. We're South of Bourbon (ok - it's really southeast), in the land of civilized drinking and worlds away from the oversized beers and bad frozen drinks. Our modern Creole saloon is a Louisiana-centric and street food inspired restaurant with a beverage focus.
Incredible food, cocktails and the best and most friendly staff! Go at happy hour 3-6pm. So good
Modern fare with a focus on Caribbean flavors, with dishes like tuna sashimi ice cream cones and ghost chili cotton candy. The bar program, headed up by bar chef Abigail Gullo, is one of the best in the city.
