“offering the iconic butler service!”

The St. Regis New York, located in the heart of Manhattan offers a refined atmosphere, impeccable staff and gracious service, which has ranked among the top hotels for the past 18 years. Colonel John Jacob Astor breaks ground for the building of The St. Regis Hotel at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Fifty-Fifth Street, in the most exclusive residential section of the city at the time. John Jacob Astor IV’s vision was to “make The St. Regis the finest hotel in the world.” Where personal service was redefined and a revolutionary institution began. The St. Regis Butler was born, out of a need to fulfill every guest’s desire – as if it were second nature. Today, with over 100 years experience, no request is too small or unattainable to fulfill at any hour. The St. Regis Butler ensures that unique preferences are known and understood in every detail and at every St. Regis hotel just as John Jacob Astor had envisioned it so many years ago. As seen in Woody Allen's Hannah and Her Sisters. Where Michael Caine has an affair with Barbra Hershey.

This iconic building from Hannah and Her Sisters is The Langham. This is where Hannah (Mia Farrow) lived and held her annual Thanksgiving dinner. Don’t forget to visit the St. Regis-Sheraton Hotel, where Hannah’s husband (played by Michael Caine) has an affair with Hanna’s sister (played by Barbara Hershey), after they meet at the Pageant Print and Book Store, while browsing for e.e. cummings.

Seriously, this hotel is breathtaking. It's minute walk to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and Central Park. The ceilings are 12-foot tall and there's silk on the walls and chandeliers, and Italian marble-adorned bathrooms...like for reals, it's like "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." Plus, FREE WIFI! I mean, like there better be free wifi if you're paying an arm and a leg to stay here. Oh, yeah, and you have a 24-hour personal butler. TIP: Check out the cognac room.
