“Woody Allen filming location for Manhattan”
This was where the poster for Woody Allen's Manhattan was shot. It's an iconic image featuring Woody Allen and Diane Keaton sitting on a bench together. It was shot at Riverview Terrace on Sutton Square, this is located under the 59th Street Bridge on Manhattan's east side. The bench has mysteriously disappeared. So, BYOB. :)
Riverview Terrace is such a romantic place to go with your loved one and enjoy the view.
Inspired by the famous movie "Manhattan", Riverview Terrace has become an iconic meeting point.
There is nothing interesting to do there, apart from relaxing. The place is great though.
A trip to Woody Allen’s New York isn’t complete without a photo at Riverview Terrace. This is also the arguably the most famous scene from the film, and one of the most iconic movie poster photos of all time. It’s where Woody and Keaton watch the sun come up. Unfortunately the bench has mysteriously disappeared.
A gorgeous view! Free and off the beaten path. No one was around which made it even better.
