“Soak up the ocean lifestyle”

Newport Beach offers fine, soft sand with plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy yourself. Surfers, swimmers and sunbathers all bask in the warmth of beautiful Southern California winter and summer days. Pelicans and seagulls also enjoy Southern California's year round Mediterranean climate.  Near the base of the Newport Pier is the Dory Fishing Fleet, founded in 1891. The pier offers stunning views to the north toward Huntington Beach, and looking south, you can see another structure, the Balboa Pier. This five-mile stretch of beach boasts a bevy of activities. Swimmers and sunbathers flock to the beach in summer and winter, capping off their day in the sun with a night of casual or fine dining. Skate, bike and board rentals are popular, and surfing off the jetty is prime. The vibe at the Balboa Peninsula is youthful and fun.

Newport Beach
In case you didn’t believe us before when we told you that Newport Beach is actually a road trip-worthy destination, we thought we’d remind you of some of the awesome things to do here. Feel like drinking booze on a boat while cruising around the channel? Rent a Duffy. Or maybe you’d prefer to show off your athletic prowess and paddleboard around Balboa island? Totally cool, too. Heck, why not strap on a jetpack and fly above the harbor while you’re at it? Done and done. You could even hit the arcade and ride the Ferris wheel instead. No judgments here. And remember, if all else fails, there’s always money in the banana stand.

While being in Southern California go and take a walk at Newport Beach Pier. There is so much to do there.

There are loads of shops at the beach, food stops and refreshment areas, the beach itself is very clean and has lifeguards.

The sunset from the pier is amazing and the views to the sea magnificent.
